Google Jan Von Holleben if you haven't heard of him before. He's a photographer and I love his works. These are part of a collection of photos called Dreams of Flying :)

Spent the day watching some cantonese serial with my sister, packing for tomorrow, reading Nylon and listening to The Virgins. I haven't been out to town since the beginning of this month and there are so many movies I wanna catch. Plus shopping and eating good food. (Nic and Bee when exactly is our Jewel Box date ?!)

I'm back :D

Korea was really cold, minus 9 degrees at its coldest. And we had steamboat, rice and kimchi nearly every single day. I say, don't take tour packages from People's Park cause they provide really inconsistent hotels. The first one we went to had porn on TV. It wasn't even PayTV, and it was called SpiceTV. Horrible. The next hotel near the ski resort was really nice though. My sis and I tried out ice skiing and it is the funnest thing ever :) .After you get over the falling on your butt a gazillion times thing, it's really exhilarating standing at the edge of the (fake)snow covered slope and then skimming down all the way to the bottom. And you don't feel cold at all when you're skiing. We didn't get to shop a lot, cause our tour group had quite a few children and they only gave us an hour at the factory outlets so more time could be spent at Everland. My parents apparently brought my sis and I to Everland many many years ago when we still slung cartoon waterbottles around our neck, ha ha. The place pales in comparison to Disneyland though, the only ride we took wasn't exciting at all. And the Everland mascots are these mutated mice which i'm assuming are a failed effort to incorporate as many features of mickey and minnie as possible without infringing copyright. Nevertheless, the scenery was picturesque and we had a pretty good time on the gondolas. Other stuff we did was visiting the beach and traditional Korean places, visit the city, make kimchi, and try on hanboks (that big skirted costume which is their national costume). And we made friends with the photographer guy who's this really sweet korean boy; we conversed in a mish mash of chinese and english and many hand gestures, and played chopsticks and stuff. I didn't really like the tour guide though, with his thick chinese accent and tendency to repeat the same point over and over again.

And Hongkong, Hongkong was great :D .We only spent 2 days there compared to the 6 days in Korea, but it was a really pleasant change. The food there was gastronomic, enough said. And the shopping was way better than Korea. The weather was really nice too, like there's air-con on even when you're walking the streets.

And that was a summary of my holiday :)

I finally completed Grey's season 3 today. The last episode was so drama mama and touching i swear Grey's iz the best show ever to put you in emo mode. Not that I want to lah, but i cried a bucket ha haa. My sis brought back season 4 so I'm gonna start on that sooon :)

Caught Enchanted with sis and germ today. It was quite a good show, ha ha really. Strictly not for pessimists or cynics though, they'd probably get up and leave within the first 5 minutes. Mcdreamy was dreamyyy, and when the girl ate the poisoned apple and fainted i half expected him to start feeling her pulse and saying something doctor-y but he just sat there. Must be the Grey's overdose.

Sentosa with Jingle todayyyyy

As you can see from the umbrellas, we didn't get to tan. We just lay on the mat using our armpits HAHA to prop the umbrellas up to cover our faces while the rain pattered away on our legs. We waited and waited and decided that the sun wasn't going to come out after all so we went to eatttt at Delifrance and headed off to Vivo.

My sis is coming back on Sat (!!!!!!!!) and Sat me and Bee are going to have fun and see my eyecandy heheheheheheh

Yesterday Ils and I met up to see A is for Andy, an exhibition showcasing Andy Warhol's paintings :D

It was located along Mohamed Sultan Road, and the neighbourhood there is extremelyyyyyy nice ! The whole Robertson Walk place is very un-Singaporeish, and you have all these causcasians/French/Japanese families walking about and sitting around at the cafes. Very nice :)

The queue was really long but it moved quite fast thankfully. And we saw all these artsy people in the queue. And a gay couple in front of us ha ha

The interior was made up like Andy's factory. Very neat.

This is just a peek at the famous Mao Mao paintings. We couldn't take pictures inside the gallery. There was the Marilyn Monroe, Superman, Mickey Mouse, Campbell soup, Beethoven, Venus, Drag Queen etc etc etc.

We took barely 15mins to see all the paintings, then we left.

More exploration of that place next time ehhh ! :D

Saturday was spent with Jingle zhonggggg. Typical day in town, but somehow, shopping or even window shopping is better with her. Did I mention the people i shop better with ? Jingle, my sister, Nic..... and that's pretty much all. Cause they mostly like the things I like and I don't have to pretend to like the things they like, that sort of thing. Three of you better be honoured ha ha. Anyway............. Jingle cut her hair ! I'm sure Nic's gonna come up with some new nickname for her hahaha

We wandered around town after that. I walked around like this for awhile and received some very indiscreet stares so I took them off.

And yesterday was Deepavali ! Class outing was suddenly called off, so Bee and I decided to go to town to watch Game Plan. But we couldn't get tickets anywhere so we were getting extremely borrrred and we called Mas to ask her to help us think of where to go. We managed to get her out of her house and away from her hindustan shows to come and meet us. Bee and I got VCDs for watching at the room in Esplanade library, but the library was closed when we got there. So we headed to the roof to snack and talk and listen to weird people singing out loud :)

Then we decided to go to the starbucks at one fullerton. walked through fullerton hotel :D

The Starbucks there is really nice at night. The scenery is damn romantic ha ha ha we should go there more oftenzxzxzx

Monday was spent with the girls :D

We watched Stardust ! It was nice, I really liked it albeit the cliched ending. Robert de Niro was wayyy cute haha. After the movie, Ilya and Mas left and the rest of us roamed around Marina and Suntec

Went to Toys R Us to amuse ourselves,

And finally it was B&Js to end the day :D

Today, Mas, Bee, Ilya and I went searching for Mind Cafe after school. We found the place after lotzzzzzzzz of walking and the two game geeks were happy lappy when we got there. Played board games for 4 hours ha ha can you imagine how happy they were. Then Mas Bee and I went to the pretty cupcake place to have a nice talk. Tomorrow Bee and I are going for class outing i'm gonna try not to be late for once haha

Saturday was the Halloween Party at Chiltern Drive ! Eddy, Weini, Ilya, Ahbee, St and I spent Friday scouring for costumes at Arab Street. St left early to meet Mad, and the rest of us went all over the place. Nearly died of walking (for me that is) and the heat and all the ruffly thick long hairy shit we tried on. Finally decided on costumes though, and the four of us were the most elaborately dressed on that day. Thank God we had each other haha

I sort of overdosed on booze, got a little (okay maybe understatement) tipsy and embarrassed myself infront of everybody. Not going into further detailll Ahbee and Weini will laugh at me ): .This morning when I remembered everything I swear I wanted to dig a hole and bury myself and/or be a recluse forever.

Past few days in pictures !

Cupcakes Ah Bee got for us after changing 5 buses to look for the place. L.O.L okay Ah Bee :)

And our comfort food after getting back results on Friday. Fondue at Haagen Dazs ! Heavenly :)

And today, went to Vivo to meet Ah Bee and Nic after a very bad morning. My day didn't turn out to be so bad after all :)

We had Thai food at Thai Accents for lunch !

I'm like advertising for the place haha anyway, the food was good. We walked around to get a gift for Bee's friend after that.

After Nic went off, Bee and I went all over the place looking for ten dollar cutting hair places to fix my hair. The back is damn straight and blunt no matter what anyone says and I just had to get it fixed. Walked around Taka and Fareast, and when we finally found one at PS, it was closed. Life suckzzz. Anyway, Ah Bee you're the best for walking around with me okay L.Y.L ! Ha ha. Went to Marina to get my sandals after that and this was our (first !) budget meal, for dinner.

the past few days have been rather eventful: sakae w nic and geok, sentosa with the girls plus araxes and mad, and today ilya and i went for our haircut with st. my hair is no longer ahlian (as previously said to be by ilya D: )but now it's shorttttt and blunttttt and i cannot twirlzxzxzxz it anymore. but ok, it'll grow nice and thick this time i hope. i got my cartilage piercing finally. and ils got her bloodbros sandals. so we all happy :) .PW is such a waste of time. i had to go to school today despite being extremely sleepy (will explain further later), and we just sat in the class stoning and doing anything but PW. tmr's PW again. back to why i couldnt sleep yesterday, there was a blackout and blackout=no aircon. i nearly died (dont say pampered kidzx okay i couldnt even turn on the fan). the blackout lasted for 17 hours which is quite fascinating actually. some reporters actually came to my house to interview my dad about it cause people (including my dad of course) lodged complaints. it was really funny cause when i stepped out of the house at like 6 plus in the morning, nearly all the people in my block were standing at the balcony fanning themselves.

okay enough talking. saturday to monday will be no school no PW days :D .kbox plus shopping plus good food awaaaait :)

Joshua scared the shit out of me today. It was a good story. But a very very very creepy story. Jacob Kogan is a really good actor. If I wasn't such a scaredy cat, I'd say this is a really good movie, plot and acting and all.

PROMOS ARE OVER and it is a very very very good feeling :) .Shall try not to think about the taking back results part and enjoy myself in the meantime. Today the Saturday Threeeeesome reunited for a studysession :) .National library is crazy all the seats are already taken by 1030am can you imagine. And so we went off to the Subway at Shaw Centre. It's quite an ulu malu place but it was quiet. Great studying place.

Ah bee thought this was amusing.

After studying, we sent Ils off and then we went to eat ! Ah Bee has realised the importance of food after nearly fainting and feeling dizzy/weak without food for 6 hours. So it was Siam Kitchen at Bugis :)

This wrapped up chicken thing is damn hard to open.

We ordered appetizer, soup plus main course and I was fricking full, but Ah Bee still wanted dessert haha what's new :) .I had to bring her to walk around in the lianlianZz heaven which is Bugis to xiao hua my food. Then we went to TCC for desserttttt

We ordered this thing. It's called Pear-fect Harmony. (very not funny i know). And she made me order it without pointing at the menu. The last time we went to TCC, she made me order this cake called Ole-Ole-Oh without pointing to the menu. She thinks it's damn funny.

Anyway, it tasted really weird. So we ordered chocolate sauce to enhance the flavour. TCC sells chocolate sauce at 90 cents. Tsk.

And then we decided to amuse ourselves. (i know nobody wants to see this but i'll post it for my own amusement ha ha it actually looks quite disgusting)

Haji Lane & Arab Street with Ah Bee today :) (First time for the noob that is me)

And I am in love with all the quaint little shops with the daedal architecture that is just something you don't ever see in Orchard Road or any other conventional shopping street. Every shop had it's own intricate design. And I think it was potpourri, but most of them smelt really nice :)

Felt so tired afterwards. Couldn't even study properly yeah lah you all complain i eat and sleep and read paper but i was mentally exhausted okay ha ha.

Today was a good day; got to hang out with the girls : ) .Talked more than we studied, but it was such a nice change from the stay-at-home-and-study-and-have-no-life days that have been my past 2 days. I needed it. Big big butthearts to all of you : D

promos are less than ten days away but my body refuses to respond to the little voice in my head screaming at me to fricking study when i have free time instead of sitting and stoning and watching tv and eating. i don't understand why we study so hard just to get promoted so we can, oh yay, study even more. we're all just rote learners of the singapore education system- all we do is memorize and memorize and memorize and cram and cram and cram until the day comes and we throw everything out and forget about it later on.

one example of my very inappropriate use of time: went to novena square with ah bee today during the three hour break. we ate at mos, and then we decided to satisfy our sudden craving for cake at tcc. the cakes were good though :) it's always eating when i'm with her. but eating=happy ha ha ha

anyhoooo, it's friday today and tomorrow's the (not so lovely any more) weekend. more studying awaits ! and my aiiiaiiizx's gonna get a mohawk im so excited for her. i will make sure all the girls stay away from you on monday :)

AND you won't believe it, but on Tuesday me Ilya and Nic went to the airport again. Ilya and I studied for barely an hour before Nic came and we happily went to Sakae for the sushi buffet. We ate like crazy (no, seriously). We sat there from 3 to 5 plus eating and resting and eating again. And surprise surprise, no studying any more after that. Ha ha.

And so today, i decided not to go to the airport. Stayed in school to study with ah bee, mas, st and mad. It wasn't that productive either. I think I'm about to rip my hair out. PROMOS, GO AWAY

Yesterday was a good day. Hung out with the girls, the mad one, and ah bee : )

Met up with ah bee in the day to catch Hairspray. We turned up in the same fricking colour combi. Sia sway ah. Haha.

Hairspray was a good show ! I loved the whole 60s era thing- the costumes and the dances were damn cute. James Marsden, the Cyclops guy from X-men, totally shocked me with the whole Corny Collin thing. And Zac Efron actually redeemed himself from his gay high school musical act. In other words, go watch !

And after the show, we met up with the others to go for this month's Under The Banyan Tree. They screened Grease. Another dancing singing show, coincidentally. Hah. It was goood fun :D Mas and ahbee and I were squeezing on the mat on the slope and we kept sliding down, so we had to keep changing positions. It was so funny I tell you. We were like all huddled together and Mas got all the comfortable positions while ah bee and I suffered. Hahaha. Look how happy she is.

And I feel like I have to explain myself because I have the strongest inclination that you think I have some weird, underlying motive for getting that item. Like maybe getting it before you, knowing that you want it ? (Hit the nail on the head, right ?) I think you know nobody would want to offend you, for obvious reasons. Tell me why I would want to. Okay, I knew you wanted it when S said they were planning to get it for you for your birthday but it's been close to two weeks past your birthday and both S and E have gotten you presents. So I just assumed you weren't getting it anymore. I don't think I need to ask your permission whatsoever to get what I like, especially something that appeared on my own wishlist, I believe, before yours. I said she was going to get you something, and I didn't mind getting a shared present. But she didn't mention anything about getting you that certain item, and I'm quite sure she didn't intend to. If you assumed we were, then it's a misunderstanding.

And confronting my good friend about it is just, ____ .You've offended a few of my good friends before (in very very shocking ways), and today's the first time I feel really, truly, downright offended. Hello world short updates about last week

Past week I've been busy busy busy. Training plus squeezing in dinners with my family cos my mom and sis were going away (they left already, yesterday) plus yesterday's ultimately tiring SgTouch tournament followed by King Lear at the esplanade have taken my sleep away from me. Today I finally managed to sleep more than 5 hours. It was good :) .

Ian Mckellen (YES, Gandalf The Great/Magneto) came to my school (YES, NYJC. My school bigger than yours ha ha ha ok sorry have to boast abit) to talk to a group of us who got tickets to see the Seagull play at esplanade ! I don't know how Ms Kwok got him to our school but she did and he was very, very good. One of the best actors ever, really. He was superb in King Lear.

Yesterday's touch tournament was exhausting. We played under heavy rain and it was the worst ever cause I couldn't see a shit with the rain in my eyes (and nose and mouth). And then the sun came out and it was sweltering; we all got bad tan lines. And then, it started to drizzle again. It was the worst day ever. Plus my hamstring injury worsened and it hurt really bad, and there were a couple of other injuries from the other girls. I could go on and on and on. But our team really bonded and I can say that I really love the touch ruggers :D

Today I spent my day with my darlings Ilya & Weini, and her Wonka. Ha ha. We walked around the Raffles City/Marina Sq/Suntec area. Esplanade was blocked off so we couldnt go to the roof ): .But anyway we had fun people watching and just walking and talking. And oh we saw lots of people, of aaall shapes and sizes. Literally.

We had KFC for dinner

And the rest of the night was spent at the outdoor area at the top floor of Marina Sq. All the pictures are in black and white cos the coloured ones turned out blurry in the dark.

Weini was being difficult,

but i managed to get the coveted picture in the end. (duh !) Hahaha

Met Mas after PW meeting today. Walked around Marina, then went off to Cine to meet Haikal and Yx for movie. And at City Hall we saw PIXIE ! Zomg, HHS has met her match. Yesterday was a good day. Today is good day also. Okay, the best thing was that Mao Mao didn't come so we had a relief teacher for history. And the funny thing is he injured his back while playing that hit-each-other-with-bat-and-try-to-make-each-other-fall-off-the-thing game. He fell on the mat and injured his back. HA HA. School ended at 12 today and we were all happy :D . And we decided to all go and watch the soccer match ! Which was a waste cos it rained and they postponed it. But MJ was interesting. They have this gallery place to view stuff on the field, and they sell icecream. And there are lots of MI people there. And I saw Shern ! And I didn't even know she was there. Ha. After match Mas and bf left and me St and Yx went to TM omgzx that place is infested with lianZz and bengZz cannot stand it. So we ate and left and went to Parkway ! Which is better. Yx treated us Delifrance ! Haha and omgzx people watching with St is zeh best haha ! St I love you many many too and i shall see you tomorrow :D . Ok pictureszxzx
